Pricing & Policies

When you book The Cabin At Lake Leon, you agree to the following:

Check-in time is at or after 3:00 PM.

Departure time is 10:00 AM.

The Cabin has a Base Rate of $800 per night and base occupancy of 18 guests. There is a $20 charge for each extra guest above the Base Rate.  Occupancy will not exceed 28 guests total. Violations of Maximum Occupancy Limits are subject to immediate eviction without refund.

·       Minimum age requirement of primary renter is 25.

·       The Cabin and property are for paid/registered guests. Additional Day Guest Limits must be approved in writing in advance. Contact us in advance to seek permission.  Violations of Approved Day Guest Limits are subject to immediate eviction without refund.

·       NO PETS –  Pets are NOT allowed on The Cabin property.

·       NO SMOKING AND/OR VAPING ALLOWED. If anyone smokes or vapes indoors, you will be charged an additional $250 cleaning fee.

·       A two-night minimum stay is required.

·       A deposit of one-night stay plus tax is required to confirm reservation.

·       Cancellations - Refunds (minus $50 service fee) made up to 30 days prior to stay. No refunds for cancellations 29 days prior. No bad weather refunds.

·       The Cabin is a “housekeeping” cabin.  This means that you “keep house” during your stay, cleaning up after yourself - wash dishes, pick up and dispose of trash, and place used towels and linens in bathroom floors before departure.  Maid Service is not provided.  In the event that The Cabin is not left in respectable condition, we reserve the right to charge credit card on file additional fees for cleaning and damages.  In addition, we reserve the right to deny future rental.

·       Please put things back where you found them.

·       Wash all dishes and return to proper location (You dont want to pick up a greasy skillet and neither do we.)

·       No wet swimsuits on furniture

·       Please hang towels where they can dry on a hooks or towel bars.

·       No food or drink on beds

·       If you use grill make sure propane is turned off on grill and tank. Please clean grill after use for next guest.

Cleaning fees – A $500 cleaning fee is assessed for each stay.

Safety first - Campfires in fire pit only. No fireworks on property at any time. No candles. Cabin has smoke alarms and a fire extinguisher. Please report any safety issue immediately. 325-665-1122.

Excessive cleaning - An additional cleaning fee will be applied to units requiring excessive cleaning.

Keys and Remotes - There will be a $25 charge for lost keys, a $50 charge for lost AC remotes, and a $25 charge for lost TV remotes.

Boats, PWC, ATVs and Trailers – Please coordinate with us prior to check-in.  ATVs and Golf Carts are prohibited. 

Sprinklers - Be aware that sprinklers may come on from 1:00 am to 3:00 am. Belongings left in yard will get wet.

Noise – Please respect the privacy of local residents.  Quiet Time is 10 pm to 8 am. Please avoid excessive noise at all times.

Swimming – The Cabin At Lake Leon requires anyone who is in the lake water to wear a lifejacket. Lifejackets are NOT provided.  (We have a few available, but you will need to provide your own lifejackets.)  You are responsible for your own safety.

No Diving – There is NO DIVING allowed from boat dock, deck or the shore into the lake.

Plumbing – The Cabin is on a septic system. Please don’t put grease or food down the drains. Please do not flush diapers, diaper wipes, feminine products or “flushable” wipes. Potential damage fees may apply if prohibited items cause plumbing issues.  

Processes

Check In – Check-in is at or after 3 pm. Full payment is required at check-in and can be paid by credit card only. WE WILL CHARGE THE CARD ON FILE at 10 am on check-in day unless you tell us in advance you want to pay another way. Incidentals will be charged at check-out to card on file.

Check-out: Check-out is no later than 10 am.

PLEASE:

·       Wash dishes. (It’s OK to leave them drying in the drying rack.)

·       Run dishwasher if you loaded it.

·       Remove all your food from refrigerator when you leave.

·       Take trash to dumpster. (Extra bags are in all bathroom cabinets and kitchen trash pullout drawer.)

·       Please leave all towels hanging in bathrooms.

·       Please DO NOT strip beds. Simply leave them unmade.

·       Lock all exterior doors except front door.  Front door will be programmed to lock upon your departure.
